CAROL M. UPTON is a writer, personal historian and group facilitator. Her work has appeared in The Vancouver Sun and Province, the Coast Reporter, Cup of Comfort Cookbook, Caregiver News, and several trade journals. She has facilitated many writing workshops and critique groups and is part owner of the Sunshine Coast School of Writing. She teaches "Capturing Memories" for the Sunshine Coast Regional District, and the North and West Vancouver School Boards.
Carol lives and writes at 'Skookumshack', a 50-year-old Gibsons cabin. Her memberships include the Federation of B.C. Writers, the Association of Personal Historians, the Sunshine Coast Regional Heritage Council and the Coast Cultural Alliance.
KERRY P. MILLS is a freelance graphic designer, photographer and writer who has worked with Recollections since its inception. In addition to designing memory, tribute and event books, Kerry creates much of the company's marketing and publicity material. He has also designed and edited numerous other projects, including newsletters, posters and programs for Sunshine Coast arts groups.
When not in front of the computer, Kerry works in Gibsons as a theatre technician and is currently the Technical Director of the Gibsons Landing Heritage Playhouse. He is a founding member of the Coast Cultural Alliance and is active in many arts groups. Kerry also resides at 'Skookumshack' in Gibsons, B.C.
